Japan's tragedy is one of those events.” --JOJI SAKURAI, Associated Press ZUMBA FITNESS—CAUSE FOR JAPAN After hearing about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, which has left people without their homes, food, and even their families, 9 instructors from around the area have come together to host one of the biggest Zumba events the Hudson Valley has ever had, to raise money to aide those affected by this tragedy. Join Janine Turcio, Eileen Bastien, Gina Dickson, Carmen La Serna, Jessika Ramie, Tanya Bracero, Stephanie Gallo, Marisol Jackson, Dorothy Crowther in The Kaplan Recreation Cente, at MSMC, for a jam-packed hour and 45 minute class that you WILL NOT want to miss!! There will also be a 15-minute demo of a Japanese form of karate, called Shotokan, which will be done by a local teacher.
